Hi everyone
Winter is coming to Tokyo, Christmas is in the department stores,
sabbatical is over, the Fulbright is spent, the sushi is eaten, and
we're packing for southern California! Some last snaps from an
adventure we'll always remember:
We're sipping the last nectar of beauty and friendship in Japan, and
looking forward to seeing you all soon. Hope you're doing well, and
happy holidays!

Are you an Amazon addict? I confess to being one and I know it's because the site makes it so easy to find and buy more books than I'll ever have time to read. To complement my addiction, I was intrigued to find LibraryLookup, a page containing 900 bookmarklets leading to individual libraries. A bookmarklet isn't something you click on; instead, you drag it to the toolbar of your browser and click on it there.
As it happens, the SDSU library is represented on this page and I now have its bookmarklet perched on my toolbar. Now, whenever I'm on Amazon (or any site that has a book ISBN as part of the URL) one click on the bookmarklet opens up a window into SDSU's PAC site and tells me if the book is there in the stacks. I don't know if this is going to reduce my Amazon bill... but it's cool!
